MSI takes a leap with 14-inch CR410 Notebook





Dell launched the feature-rich Inspiron M101Z notebook fitted with an 11.6” display just a few days ago. Now MSI has come up with the Classic series CR410 laptop which includes a 14” LED display that exhibits HD resolutions of 1366 x 768p and a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
Users can choose to purchase the notebook with a 2.5” SATA HDD offering 250GB, 320GB or 500GB storage capacity. The gadget is equipped with two DDR3 memory slots. The visual capability of this notebook is backed by the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4270 graphics card.
The CR410 is powered by the AMD Athlon II Dual-Core processor and it integrates the RS880M+SB820M chipset. The exterior of the gadget is embedded with ports for HDMI, D-sub, USB 2.0, mic-in, headphone out, RJ-45 as well as a Kensington lock. Additionally, the laptop is attributed with a 4-in-1 card reader.
Wireless connectivity of this Bluetooth V2.1+EDR enabled device is supported by Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n capability. Apart from the two built-in speakers, the laptop flaunts a 0.3MP webcam too. Moreover, it runs on a 6-cell 4400mAh standard battery. The dimensions of the gadget amount to about 344.4mm x 221mm x 13.5mm and it tips the scale at around 2.2 kg.
It flaunts MSI’s 45° beveled construction, a matte black finish and metal touchpad keys highlighted by the LOHAS design. Pricing details of the MSI CR410 notebook are unclear for now.
