Apple has just announced its latest 27" LED Cinema Display that boasts a stunning 2560 x 1440 resolution as well as 60% more screen real estate compared to its predecessor, the 24" LED Cinema Display. Among the features found in this new addition to the Apple hardware family would be a built-in iSight video camera, microphone and speakers, not to mention a powered USB 2.0 hub and universal MagSafe connector. Regardless of whether you use it to hook up to the MacBook or to a Mac desktop, this $999 monitor looks set to spruce up your work space. Boasting a beautiful 16:9 edge-to-edge glass display on an aluminum stand with an adjustable hinge, tilting the display requires almost no effort. Thanks to in-plane switching (IPS) capability, your eyes will benefit from a brilliant image across an ultra wide 178 degree viewing angle. Before picking this up, just make sure your Mac is a newer one with a Mini DisplayPort
