Acer unveiled a pair of sleek and shiny laptop computers, the Aspire Ethos 5943G and 8943G, both of which look like some high-end, powerful machines.
According to Notebook Italia, both Aspire Ethos models will come equipped with 220-nit CineCrystal LED screens, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5000 graphics, a Mobile Intel Express HM55 chipset, and up to 4 GB DDR3 memory.
They also both retain a 4,800mAh battery, which is actually a sour point as it only lasts 3.5 hours. However, as long as the battery is charged or you have the laptop plugged in, those fancy displays can be put to a lot of good use, either for gaming or movies, and they are 3D-capable.
There are some specs open to customization on both Acer machines, such as the choice between an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, and deciding between DVD or Blu-ray optical drives.

Neither a price nor a release date have been announced yet, but expect to pay more than usual for an Acer notebook with these specs.
