The OlivePad-VT100 tablet makes good sense for reading ebooks and browsing the Web over its Webkit browser which supports Flash. Its support for quad-band GSM and tri-band WCDMA makes the OlivePad-VT100 a tablet that also has the features of a smartphone, allowing voice and video calling.

While we await the Apple iPad and Notion Ink's Adam Tablet, Olive Telecom's OlivePad-VT100 tablet will have to whet our appetite for tablet PCs. The OlivePad-VT100 will retail in Croma stores in August for a price of Rs. 25,000.
