Thin Waterproof Speaker - New Invention

Recently, we have seen launch of some waterproof phones,allowing users to be assured that their favorite device will not malfunction in case is gets wet.












Waterproof phones require speakers that would be able to register quality sound and be water resistant. With this in mind, a company called Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd., recently presented is latest invention - an ultra-thin piezoelectric speaker.



The new type of speaker is just 0.9mm thick, having IPX7 grade for water resistance. It is known that waterproof devices have their speaker holes covered by a thin film, which undoubtedly lowers the quality of the sound.
However, the new speakers do not require any film - due to their unique features they are able provide quality sound. Because the demand for waterproof handsets is continuously rising, the company decided to install its latest invention in its product lineup.
